EDUCATION 

March 2000- November 2006 Post -doc position (Assegno di ricerca) at Università degli Studi di Bologna, Italy under the supervision of Prof. Braga.
November 1997 - March 2001 I did the Ph.D. in Chemistry at Università degli Studi di Bologna, Italy under the supervision of Prof. Braga.
October1998 - November 1998  I spent six week in the group of professor Wais Hosseini at Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, with a Galileo project 
September 1997 - November 1997  I spent ten weeks in the group of Dr. Sylvia Draper at Trinity Collage of Dublin, Ireland  with a bilateral exchange. 
20th March 1997 I graduated in Chemistry at Università degli Studi di Bologna, Italy. The final thesis was in     Photochemistry: ”Synthesis and studies of photophysical properties of copper (I) halide complexes.” my supervisors were Prof. Balzani (Università di Bologna) and Prof. Ford (UCSB).
September 1995-June 1996  I enjoyed the Exchange Abroad Program between the University of California and The Università di Bologna. I spent my fifth academic year at the University of California, Santa Barbara where I was enrolled in chemistry courses and I worked with the Ford's group on my graduation project.
 
INTERESTS 
I'm really interested in  crystal engineering, polymorphism, solvent free reactions and solid state techniques.

HOBBIES 
I have too many hobbies and not enough time to do them.  I like traveling,  reading novels and comics books ( I love Calvin and Hobbes ), hiking on Dolomiti, chatting with my friends, dancing tango, painting watercolors, walking around my beautiful city: Bologna
